Despite Friendship Breakdown ‘Two Coreys’ Lining Up Season 2

Three months ago, ‘80s film fans the world over were crushed when news broke that Corey Feldman and Corey Haim had fallen out. But, despite the end of the friendship, A&E have ordered another round of their television series “The Two Coreys” according to a blog post from Feldman.

Feldman blogged on his Web site, The Feldman Journal, that the decision to make season two, is a “frustrating” one.

“Let’s just say we are currently having creative talks and negotiations to see if we can find a way to continue the show even given the broken state that Haim and my relationship is in,” Feldman wrote.

The actor said the tear in the mens’ friendship occurred after the filming of season one of “The Two Coreys.”

“[It did] not have anything to do with the banter from last season,” Feldman explained.

So what can possibly get the two back on course toward rebuilding their friendship, or at least getting together for the show? While producers could always take cues from Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and film them separately, if Feldman has his way, things make come across somewhat colder.

“If we do come back, the next season will have to be darker, edgier, and more real because that’s where it’s at,” he said.

In related Feldman news, he notes “Lost Boys 2” is moving along nicely in the production process and Warner Bros. “are already talking about doing a third.”

The actor also took the opportunity to ask his Iowa fans to vote for Hillary Clinton in Thursday’s caucus.
