After six seasons, “Lost” went off to TV Heaven last night, as did the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815. If you are still confused, then I’ve got a guide to where you can get your post “Lost” analysis. Plus, a huge night of finales and “The Bachelorette” looks for love starting tonight.
The End Of “Lost”
I was so affected by the final minutes of “Lost” last night, I actually could not sleep. My first thought when it ended was, “Did any of the stuff on the Island actually happen? Did all the Oceanic 815 passengers die on impact and they created this alternate reality together in purgatory?” Then after thinking about it some more, I realized I was way off in my thinking. Most of them were strangers on that plane so why would they create a reality together? So, the island stuff did happen. “Did they all die trying to get off the island?” was my next question.
But then why was Desmond’s true love, Penny, in that church? She wasn’t on the plane. So, I’m wrong again. So many thoughts running through my head! It wasn’t until this morning that my co-workers (thanks editor Jeremy!) handed me their theories on what happened that it became a little clearer. I could sit here and explain it to you but I’m a busy girl. So, instead I’ve compiled a list of popular TV sites where you can read other people’s theories and decide for yourself.
For the record, I liked the finale even if I’m still confused about what actually happened. I think something Michael Emerson (who played Benjamin Linus) told me last week kind of wraps up perfectly how I feel as well. “The more I think about it,” he said. “The better I like it. I just realized that it didn’t come in the package I expected, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t great.”

Monday Night Finales
It’s a big night of television this evening. So stay home and set the DVR’s.
“Dancing with the Stars” – Evan Lysacek, Erin Andrews and Nicole Scherzinger battle it out for dance floor supremacy. ABC, 8 PM ET/PT.
“24” – It’s “so long” to CTU and Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) tonight after eight heart-pounding seasons. FOX, 8 PM ET/PT.
“How I Met Your Mother” – Marshall (Jason Segal) and Lily (Allyson Hannigan) contemplate whether or not it’s time to have a baby. Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) tries to help move things along. CBS, 8 PM ET/PT.
“The Big Bang Theory” – Sheldon (Jim Parsons) may or may not have found himself a love interest in guest star Mayim Bialik. 9:30 PM ET/PT.
“Law & Order” – The series wraps up after an incredible 20 year run. Olympic skiing gold medalist Lindsey Vonn guest stars. NBC, 10 PM ET/PT.
“Chuck” – TV’s most adorable spy (Zach Levi) wraps up season three with a two-hour episode. Expect a significant character to bite the dust. NBC, 8 PM ET/PT.
“The Bachelorette” Returns
Ali Fedotowsky is looking for love in all the wrong places – on this trash-tastic reality dating show that just won’t go away. She’s part of the AH Nation tonight on Access Hollywood (check your local listings) and then she meets her 25 suitors tonight after “Dancing with the Stars.”
