Facebook Launches Notify App; Access Hollywood Joins As Launch Partner

Facebook is taking the news alert to the next level.

Mark Zuckerberg and company released their latest app on
Wednesday – Notify.

Delivering “notifications that matter,” the app
allows users to subscribe to news alerts from their favorite outlets, and on
their favorite topics, via the specific categories, called
“stations.”

The Notify alert will then connect the user directly to the
content on the provider’s site.
