Fox Orders ‘Scream Queens’ Season 2, ‘Empire’ Season 3

Fox has ordered another round of “Scream Queens.” 

The network announced the comedy-horror series was picked up for a Season 2, during Fox’s portion of the Television Critics Association Executive Session on Friday. 

Season 2 will be set in a hospital and feature a brand new murder mystery.

According to Fox, the show will feature “some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases under observation.” 

Casting announcements will be made at a later time.

On Friday, Fox also announced that “Empire” has been renewed for a third season. 

The series is currently in its second season, which is slated to continue with its spring premiere on Wednesday, March 30 at 9 PM ET/PT.
