Fox Picks Up Robert Kazinsky-Starring ‘The Frankenstein Code’

The Robert Kazinsky-starring “The Frankenstein Code” has been picked up for the 2015-2016 TV season by Fox, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The “True Blood” alum plays Jimmy Pritchard, described in the log line as a “morally corrupt retired cop” who is “given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead.”

“Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose,” the series description read.

“It’s not Mary Shelley’s. It’s a modern take on it,” Robert told Access Hollywood, when we asked him about the pilot as he hit the red carpet at the “Hot Pursuit” premiere last week.

“Homeland” EP Howard Gordon is behind the series with Rand Ravich (“Crisis”) and Michael Cuesta (“Elementary”).
