‘Game Of Thrones’ Casts Jim Broadbent For Season 7

“Bridget Jones’s Baby” star Jim Broadbent has
joined “Game of Thrones” for Season 7, Access Hollywood has
confirmed.

It’s unknown what role the British actor, who recently
appeared in A&E’s “War & Peace” mini-series, will play.

Entertainment Weekly first broke the news on Wednesday,
noting Broadbent’s role is “significant.”

Next month, the actor appears on the big screen in “Bridget Jones’s Baby,” reprising his role as Bridget Jones’ dad (a part he first played in “Bridget Jones’s Diary” in 2001).

Some of Broadbent’s credits include “The Young Victoria,” alongside Emily Blunt, and Masterpiece mini-series “Any Human Heart.”
