Lena Dunham has certainly gotten it more “kind of together” than her lovably bumbling “Girls” character, Hannah Horvath!
In addition to creating, writing, directing and starring in the HBO comedy (and nabbing two Golden Globes for her efforts earlier this month), the 26-year-old talent will once again team up with “Girls” co-executive producer/co-showrunner Jenni Konner for a second possible series for the network, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
Dunham and Konner have been chosen to write a comedy pilot based on the upcoming memoir of famed Bergdorf Goodman personal shopper Betty Halbreich, “All Dressed Up And Everywhere To Go,” which — like “Girls”– will also be set in New York City, according to Deadline, which was first to report the news.
Halbreich, now 85, still runs her personal shopping service, which has been in business for over 30 years.
The New York staple has also styled numerous Hollywood stars and been instrumental in selecting the fashions seen on “Sex and The City” and many Woody Allen movies.
Dunham and Konner will most certainly have their hands full with the addition of the new project, as “Girls” (currently in its second season) was recently picked up for a third season.
“Girls” airs Sundays at 9 PM on HBO.
