This photo is of me at work the other day, when a co-worker complimented me on a cuff I had on. It was a classic Hermes cuff that I paired with several other various bracelets.
I’ve been wearing armloads of bracelets all summer, it’s kind of been my go-to look. On vacation, I packed extremely lightly when it came to clothes, so, I threw a bunch of bracelets into a jewelry bag and brought them along. Such an easy upgrade for just about any outfit!
For me, the key is to go for a good mix of styles. In addition to the Hermes cuff, there’s a Chanel black leather and silver link bracelet that I’ve had for years, as well as my beloved black Chanel J12 watch.
Three or natural rope friendship bracelets and a couple of gray beaded numbers from Club Monaco are more on the boho side.
A Club Monaco beaded wrap bracelet, which can either be worn as a necklace or bracelet, is thrown into the mix, as well as, a couple of Forever 21 silver studded bangles and a very Eddie Borgo-esque cone bracelet, also from Forever 21.
That’s the great thing about playing up arm candy. It’s easy to pile bracelets on, swap things out or wear less, depending on my mood or the occasion. Mixing things up is a snap and you don’t have to buy anything new, you can raid your jewelry box, if you don’t want to spend any cash. At any rate, I seem to get a lot of compliments on the look.
Easy, breezy. Perfect for summer. Go for it!
