Nikki Blonsky, star of the feature film “Hairspray,” and her father, Carl, were arrested Wednesday after getting into a brawl with “Americas Next Top Model” Cycle 9 contestant Bianca Golden at Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos, authorities confirmed to Access Hollywood.
A fight broke out on Wednesday between 12:30 and 1:00 PM between the Blonsky father and daughter and Golden, the spokesperson told Access.
Tempers reportedly flared when Golden tried to take a seat occupied by the Blonskys, a source told Us Weekly. The Blonsky family allegedly refused to move their luggage.
Nikki was charged with actual bodily harm, while her father was charged with grievous bodily harm, a police spokesperson confirmed to Access.
Nikki was released on $6,000 cash bail, while Carl Blonsky remains in custody until August 8.
“ANTM” contestant Bianca was also charged with actual bodily harm and released on $6,000 surety bail. The model was released on her own accord with the promise of returning for a court date on September 17.
Bianca appears to be following in the footsteps of another airport rage-prone model, Naomi Campbell, who the reality show alum previously admitted an affinity for.
“I love Naomi because she is a diva,” the former “ANTM” contestant told the New York Times in 2007. “After a while of being called fierce and everything, being a diva comes with the territory.”
Bianca’s mother, Elaine Golden, was airlifted to a Miami hospital due to head injuries sustained from the brawl, according to police.
Nikki appeared in a Turks and Caicos court Friday wearing a neck brace. She is due back in court December 1.
When contacted, a rep for Nikki Blonsky told Access Hollywood, “We have no comment… no comment at all.”
Nikki has returned stateside, while her father remains in custody in Turks and Caicos.
