Halle Berry: I Won’t Go Into Parking Garages Alone After Making The Call

Halle Berry’s latest movie, “The Call” – a thriller — has made the actress change her ways for the sake of safety.

The movie centers on Halle’s Jordan Turner, a 911 operator who helps an abducted girl.

“I won’t go in a parking garage alone ever again after making this movie,” the actress told Access Hollywood at the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “More importantly after watching this movie!”

The big screen beauty was excited to play a powerful character in the thriller.

“We don’t often get great characters like this to play as women, unfortunately. And this is a really good movie for us girls,” she continued.

Playing a 911 operator also gave Halle a new outlook on such an important profession.

“To really realize what these people do and how much responsibility they have and how calm [they have to be] and how they have to multitask… it’s [amazing,]” she added. “They are really the unsung heroes of the city.”

“The Call,” also starring Abigail Breslin, opens on March 15.
