Healthy Hollywood: Get Movin’ Monday – Fitness Tips For Hollywood’s New Moms!

Hollywood delivered a one-two ‘hello baby’ punch over the weekend.

Victoria Beckham gave birth to a healthy (and we’re sure beautiful) baby girl Sunday. Posh and her soccer stud hubby, David, named their future style icon Harper Seven.

Kate Hudson and her fiance, Muse singer Matt Bellamy celebrated the birth of their baby boy on Saturday. The happy new parents have yet to release their son’s name.

Proving that good things really do come in threes, Jewel and her hubby, rodeo star Ty Murray, are expecting her baby boy any day now!

“I’m feeling really great and enjoying pregnancy much more than I thought I would,” reveals the singer in the August/September issue of Fit Pregnancy Magazine.

The first-time-mom-to-be, 37, adds, “Pregnancy is a privilege, and I feel lucky that I get to do it. It’s kind of sad that men don’t.”

The health-conscious star has also taken good care of herself during her pregnancy. “At first I was doing rigorous cardio, then slowed down to the elliptical and now I’m doing Julie Tupler’s program for abs. I also kept riding [horses] until a couple weeks ago.”

Jewel revealed in Fit Pregnancy Magazine she gained 30 pounds by 30 weeks. She admits to craving carbs, but satisfied her healthy appetite by eating lots of protein, whole grains, and veggies – plus she’s been juicing every day since she got pregnant.

As for stressing about losing the baby weight, Jewel tells Fit Pregnancy she hopes breastfeeding does job but “I won’t be neurotic about it. I want to give myself time to rest and tend to my baby.”

Congrats to all of Hollywood’s new moms! Motherhood is a privilege and a journey rich in love and gratitude.
