David Bowie will always have a place in Iman’s heart.
On Monday, the supermodel commemorated what would have been
her 24th wedding anniversary with the late music icon, sharing a
black-and-white flashback photo of the pair smiling together on the beach.
Iman included the hashtag “#foreverlove” in her
Instagram caption, as the phrase “the best thing about me is you”
displays across the bottom of the romantic image.
Bowie died on Jan. 10 at age 69, following a battle with
cancer. Iman has honored his memory on social media with numerous photos and
fan tributes, but Monday’s post marks the first time she’s shared a picture of
the two of them since his passing.
The couple met in 1990 and married two years later in
Tuscany. They had one child together, 15-year-old Alexandria Jones.
