LOS ANGELES (November 8, 2006) — John Forsythe’s family is still “very optimistic” that he’ll recover from cancer even though he’s been in the hospital longer than expected.
Forsythe was diagnosed with colon cancer on September 28th. He started treatment last month. Forsythe is 88.
His daughter Brooke says the family is “very optimistic for a complete recovery.” And she says her dad is looking foward to “going home soon.”
A spokesman says the family is “touched and grateful” for the care and concern people have shown since his diagnosis.
