Judge Extends Pamela Anderson’s Restraining Order Against Rick Salomon

A restraining order Pamela Anderson filed against her estranged husband Rick Salomon is now in place until May 6.

Access Hollywood was in the courtroom Friday morning when Judge Marc D. Gross extended the temporary restraining order to give Anderson more time to serve Salomon with the legal documents.

Anderson and her attorney, Fred Silberberg, were both present for the hearing. Salomon did not attend the proceedings, though his attorney, Laura Wasser, was there on his behalf.

“I’m happy that we get to leave the restraining order in effect because that’s the most important thing — our safety and the safety of my family,” Anderson told Access exclusively outside the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.

The actress filed the order after she claims Salomon tried to strangle her and smother her with a pillow while they were having sex in January. According to court papers, Anderson also alleges Salomon was verbally abusive towards her and has threatened to release unauthorized photos of her to the press.

Anderson filed for divorce in California from Salomon, a poker player and businessman, back in February. In response, Salomon served Anderson with annulment papers that he filed in Nevada. It was their second marriage to each other.

Wasser was approached by Access for an interview regarding her client Salomon, but declined to comment.
