Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom took to their Twitter accounts to express their condolences to the loved ones of a 15-year-old New York teen following a fatal auto accident.
According to TMZ, on Thursday a car carrying the NBA star was involved in an accident with a motorcycle, which then struck the 15-year-old pedestrian.
The boy’s family told TMZ that he suffered serious head injuries due to the accident and died the following day after surgery was performed in an attempt to save his life.
Odom was in New York on Thursday for his cousin’s funeral when the tragedy occurred.
The athlete had hired a car service to drive him.
“Thank you for your support and prayers! My thoughts and prayers are with the young boys family,” Odom Tweeted on Monday.
His wife, Khloe, also expressed her feelings about the fatal accident, Tweeting, “My heart/soul goes out 2every1 in pain from any suffering. Pray 4 all of the angels surrounding us constantly. May our spirits stay strong.”
A funeral for the teen reportedly took place on Monday.
