Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Marries Drummer Chris Tyrell

Hillary Scott is married!

The Lady Antebellum frontwoman, 25, and her now-husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, proudly announced the joyous news in a video posted on the country trio’s website on Sunday.

“I’d like to introduce you to Mrs. Hillary Scott Tyrell,” Chris said in the video message, as the bride held up her hand to show off her sparkling ring.

“We got married and we wanted you to hear it from us first,” Hillary added, as picturesque footage of the couple on their wedding day was shown. “We love you!”

Adding, “We are so excited to be starting our lives together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news.”

The couple, who became engaged in July, married in upstate New York on Saturday as close friends and family looked on.

The “Just A Kiss” singer wore a custom strapless mermaid gown by Vera Wang – complete with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading – with a floor-length veil, while Chris wore a gray Ermenegildo Zegna suit, with a black shirt.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Chris popped the question six months ago.

“Chris proposed exactly the way I’ve always dreamed,” the singer told People at the time. “Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and – in our workout clothes – he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together.”

The beautiful brunette met Chris, who reportedly inspired the band’s hit, “Just A Kiss,” while touring with country star Tim McGraw in 2010, the mag reported.
