Lucy Liu is
celebrating her birthday with a very special someone.
The
“Elementary” star turned 47 on Wednesday and shared an adorable photo
of her infant son, Rockwell, looking thrilled to be part of his mom’s big day.
Apparently,
the feeling was mutual.

“When it’s your birthday and you’re feeling…” Lucy
wrote, captioning a sweet snap of her bundle of joy smiling in a red onesie, with
the phrase “I’m all that and dim sum” printed down the front.
The new mom welcomed Rockwell via gestational surrogate in
August, and announced his birth on social media.

“Introducing the new little man in my life, my son
Rockwell Lloyd Liu,” the “Charlie’s Angels” star wrote at the
time, captioning a black-and-white shot of herself cradling her then-newborn.
“In [love]!”
Rockwell is Lucy’s first child, but the actress and director
is also a proud dog parent.
She launched her own pet product line
shortly before Rockwell’s birth, and posts regular photos of her beloved
chocolate lab, Apple, and other furry friends.
