Fans and loved ones alike will soon bid Muhammad Ali a final goodbye.
The late boxing legend will be laid to rest June 10 in his hometown of Louisville, Ky., longtime family spokesperson Bob Gunnell announced during a press conference on Saturday.
The funeral will be open to the public with limited seating, and live-streamed on www.alicenter.org. According to a statement, a procession will also travel throughout Louisville before the service, allowing “mourners to pay final respects during Muhammad’s final journey.”
In addition, the motorcade will pass “locations that were historically important” to the athlete.
Gunnell said in the conference that Ali passed away in Phoenix at 9:10 PM MST on Friday from “septic shock due to unspecified natural causes,” and close family members were present for the last hour of his life.

Ali battled Parkinson’s disease for more than three decades, and was initially hospitalized in the Phoenix area last Monday with respiratory issues related to the illness.
Former President Bill Clinton, Billy Crystal and Bryant Gumbel are all scheduled to speak during the public service, which is also set to include clerics from multiple religions.
Tributes to Ali came pouring in following the news of his death, with Clinton celebrating the three-time heavyweight champ and humanitarian as “a man who, through triumph and trials, became even greater than his legend” in a statement posted to the Clinton Foundation website.
