Girls” fans!
After much speculation, Netflix has confirmed its plans to
revive the beloved family dramedy.
The streaming network announced the news via Twitter on
Friday, also revealing the return of original stars Lauren Graham, Alexis
Bledel, Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop, as well as series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

“OY with the poodles already,” Netflix’s post
read, quoting a now-famous line which Graham’s character, fast-talking single
mom Lorelai Gilmore, first used in the series’ second season.
While a premiere date and official title have yet to be
released, Variety reports that the “Gilmore Girls” update will avoid
an episodic format in favor of presenting four 90-minute installments.
