Tobias Menzies is helping Starz make the wait for “Outlander’s” return a little shorter.
In his Captain Black Jack Randall costume, Tobias introduced the newest sneak peek tease from the network, which features new footage, including a glimpse at Jamie Fraser’s brother-in-law Ian Murray, footage of his sister, Jenny and an interesting tease from Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore.
“The final episode of the season will go in a direction a lot of audiences are not expecting,” the EP said in the just-released trailer.

While we’ll have to wait until later this year to see that particular episode, the EP and the cast previewed what to expect in the weeks ahead, beginning April 4.
“Jack Randall is not quite finished with our couple,” the EP previewed. “And, it’s gonna be dark.”

Tobias pointed out that, “Jamie’s been someone who has intrigued Jack,” in the clip, while Sam Heughan, who plays the Highlander, said “ultimately, there’s some kind of strange, twisted respect,” between Jamie and Jack.
