Fans are getting their first glimpse of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang in Marvel’s “Ant-Man.”
The studio debuted the first image of the actor, where he appears to be on the run near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
According to Marvel, the superhero movie tells the story of Rudd’s Scott Lang, a con-man who is “armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength.”

He is forced to become a hero in order to come to the aid of Dr. Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas, to help “protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats.”
The movie also stars Corey Stoll as villain Darren Cross / Yellowjacket along with Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, rapper/actor T.I. and John Slattery.
Marvel Studios started shooting “Ant-Man” on Monday in San Francisco and it hits theaters July 17, 2015.
