Rep: Meat Loaf ‘Responsive & Recovering Well’ After Collapsing During Concert

Meat Loaf is “responsive and recovering well”
after collapsing on stage on Thursday night in Canada, a rep for the singer
told Access Hollywood.

On Thursday, Meat Loaf was performing at the Northern
Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, when he collapsed on stage. His rep said in a
statement to Access Hollywood on Friday that the collapse was due to
“severe dehydration near the end of his concert.”

“He was admitted to a nearby hospital to undergo
routine tests. His vital signs are stable and normal — he’s responsive and
recovering well,” his rep’s statement read.
