ROLL CALL: Britney Spears’ Special Photog

A Late Night Beard Off!: Strike or no strike, the late night
network talk shows, all five of them, came roaring back last night, and
things got a little hairy — and we’re not talking about the tension
from the picket lines. Letterman and Conan were sporting full beards.
Conan skipped the razor to honor his writers saying, “I grew it out of
solidarity for my writers, and to prove that I have some testosterone,”
reports PageSix.
Robin Williams, who was Letterman’s first guest, joked with the host
saying the new bearded look reminded him of General Robert E. Lee, a
rabbi and an Iraqi mullah.

Britney Befriends Photographer: As for someone who knows a thing or two about growing back hair, our favorite pop star/head shaver, Britney, has been spotted hanging out with photographer Adnan Ghalib, on multiple occasions. According to People, the unlikely pair checked into a hotel early Wednesday in Palm Springs (at 2:30 AM!) and checked out five hours later. No word if the pop star got a discount on her room rate due to the short stay.

Lindsay’s Mom Calls Riley’s Mom: If you’re thinking about confessing any deep dish you have on Lindsay Lohan to a tabloid — for example, the alleged lovemaking details Riley Giles reportedly sold to Britain’s News of the World — expect a call from Lindsay’s mom. After Lindsay’s former rehab boyfriend sold his alleged secrets to the tabloid for a reported $120,00, Dina Lohan called up Giles’ Mom, according to US Magazine. “Dina insulted her parenting,” a source tells the mag.

Lohan Named “Worst Performance” By An Actress: The readers have clicked, and the votes are in — Lindsay Lohan’s performance in “I Know Who Killed Me” was rated the worst performance by an actress, coming in with a staggering 58% of the votes. Will Dina Lohan call all of the AOL/Moviefone readers and insult their movie tastes?

Daniel Radcliffe Better Than Heath, Joaquin & Orlando: Daniel Radcliffe, has been cast to play murdered journalist Dan Eldon, in a film based on Eldon’s book, “The Journey is the Destination.” The young actor reportedly beat out acting heavyweights Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix and Orlando Bloom for the part, according to MTV News. But then again – how can a bunch of Muggle actors complete with a wizard?
