ROLL CALL: Steven Tyler Wants ‘Idol’ To ‘Lay Out The Bread!’

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Tyler Wants The Green Bread!: The “American Idol” judge drama continues and it appears to be going on longer than a classic Paula Abdul “Idol” rambling critique session! Last week, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler appeared to be onboard with heading to the “Idol” judges’ table, but on Thursday in New York, he was singing a different tune. “I don’t know, is that the rumor you heard? You know, I don’t know, they haven’t called me yet,” he told paparazzi, adding that he needs to see the cash before he becomes a judge. “They’ve got to lay out the bread for me!” he squealed. Also, no word how many pairs of skinny jeans or colorful man scarves FOX will need to lay out in order to get him to sign.

“True Blood” Werewolf Bets On More Nudity: Good news for “True Blood” fans – and fans of Joe Manganiello’s continued nakedness on the hit HBO series. “I’m never going to stop shape shifting,” Joe, who plays werewolf Alcide, told People on Thursday. “So I’m sure there will be more [nudity] in the future. I would bet money on that.” We’re not bound to stop watching anytime soon, but Joe’s admission is sure to keep our HBO subscription in place for a long time.

“Gossip” Guy Croons: Taylor Momsen isn’t the only “Gossip Girl” star that can carry a tune! In a new interview with Bullet Magazine, Penn Badgley reveals that he’s a skilled musician and a pretty good singer too. The actor said his biggest influence is D’Angelo and the first album he ever brought was The Fugees’ “The Score.” Check out Penn singing at the 2:05 mark, HERE!

Reese’s New RomCom!: We can’t blink without Reese Witherspoon turning up in another romantic comedy! Her latest, “How Do You Know,” debuted its trailer on Friday. The comedy, which also stars Paul Rudd, Jack Nicholson and Owen Wilson, is about a girl torn between two guys – shocker right? See the trailer for “How Do You Know,” HERE!
