Actress-writer-director Sarah Polley has a double dose of good news – she’s married and expecting her first child.
The Canadian actress, 32, best known for starring in “Dawn of The Dead” and her Oscar nomination for writing 2006’s “Away From Her,” announced the good news to Toronto.com.
“I’m really excited, super excited,” Sarah, who is 3 1/2 months along, said.
The actress wed David Sandomierski, an attorney and PhD candidate, at an intimate ceremony near Toronto two weeks ago.
“It was pretty much the best wedding of all time,” she said of their nuptials. “Lots of great food.”
In addition to debuting her latest project, “Take This Waltz,” starring Seth Rogen and Michelle Williams this week at the Toronto International Film Festival – which she directed and wrote – Sarah and her new hubby are writing a children’s book, “Didi and the Bean,” together.
