Sheen’s Ex, Brooke Mueller, Gets Restraining Order Against Him As Children Are Taken From Actor’s Home

As most Charlie Sheen saga fans are now aware, at around 8:30 PM on Tuesday night, the actor’s twins with ex, Brooke Mueller – Max and Bob — were taken out of his custody. On Wednesday morning, the “Two and a Half Men” star spoke about the incident with NBC News correspondent Jeff Rossen.

“What exactly happened at your house last night? You’re at home, the boys are awake or asleep?” Jeff asked, live Wednesday morning on the “Today” show.

“They were just being put to bed, and my assistant informed me that the police were on their way down to issue a restraining order,” Sheen told Rossen. “And I thought, OK, we can deal with that. I got you on the phone, lawyer on the phone, and then it was revealed once I opened the door, that they were there to remove Bob and Max.”

Sheen told Rosen that during the incident – which was caught on camera and posted on Radar Online — he kept his composure.

“I stayed very calm and focused, if somebody badges you, they win in that moment,” Sheen said. “And I said, ‘I love you,’ and I said ‘Don’t say goodbye, say see ya’ later.’ And later is, as we believe, to be very soon.”

Sheen’s twin sons with Brooke were removed from his home after a judge granted the actor’s soon-to-be ex-wife a temporary restraining order against the actor.

Among the many explosive claims from Mueller in the restraining order were that Sheen allegedly said to her on February 27, “I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom.”

“Did you say that?” Rossen asked.

“No I did not. That’s a good one, I guess. I mean if you spend a lot of time around me, you can formulate things and make them sound like it could’ve come from my mouth,” Sheen said. “But, you could do that watching reruns.”

The alleged remark from Sheen, Mueller said came just days after the estranged spouses vacationed together in the Caribbean with Sheen’s two “goddess” girlfriends, but Mueller left the party early.

“You took off to the Caribbean a while ago, you came back early,” Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush asked earlier this week in his 90-minute sit down interview with the “… Men” star.

“I was there for like an hour [laughs] and then the whole world burned down,” Sheen said.

“At what point was your ex-wife Brooke OK with the two [‘goddesses’] going, too?” Bush asked.

“Oh, it wasn’t up to her, she didn’t really get a vote,” Sheen said. “She was invited along and then she…”

“Found out they were coming? Or why did she bail?” Bush asked.

“Oh no, she just, I don’t know man, some things. Can’t really talk about it without her here. You know, I can’t, can’t be that guy,” Sheen responded.

It appears staying sober while on vacation could have been the issue. In the restraining order declaration, Mueller admits she fell off the wagon last week, allegedly with one of Sheen’s girlfriends.

Mueller states in the order, “I have not been perfect and I have struggled with my own sobriety issues over the past year and a half… [Sheen] has not supported my recovery and rehabilitation in any way. He mocks my recovery efforts.”

Mueller claims that the nearly two-year-old boys were removed from her home last Saturday, in violation of their custody orders.

“How come you have the kids and she doesn’t?” Bush asked Sheen on Monday.

”‘Cause that’s the way it is today, you know. That’s the way it is right now,” Sheen said.

“Is it a judge somewhere that believes that this environment with you is better than it is with her?” Bush asked.

“There’s no judges involved, but there’s the truth involved and it’s just great that everything is the way it is,” Sheen said at the time.

More claims from Mueller in the restraining order include:

  • Sheen allegedly threatened to stab Mueller’s eye with a pen knife
  • He allegedly spit on her feet and punched her in the arm
  • In 2009, Mueller claimed she had to get a cat scan after hitting her head on the couch when Sheen allegedly knocked her down
  • Sheen allegedly asked Mueller to return $20,000 in cash from his child support payment so he’d have untraceable cash to “knock off a few people”
  • Sheen allegedly sent Mueller a text message which read, “need to speak now. I must execute mark b like the stoopid jew pig that he is and I must do it in the next 10 seconds. if u want him gone for ever, call me now”

Mueller stated, “I believe his rage is the result of an intense mental issue, rather than simply a reaction to substance abuse.”

“I would never, ever say that about my dear friend Mark. [Mueller] is trying to create discord,” Sheen told People about the text message claim.
