‘Sing Your Face Off’: China Anne McClain Takes On Rihanna

ABC’s new celebrity competition series “Sing Your Face Off” premieres this Saturday night, and AccessHollywood.com has your first look at the transformation of one of the contestants.

Teen star China Anne McClain is transformed into Rihanna for the first episode.

“All of my friends love her and I love her too, so that was really, really cool, but it was also a challenge because she’s really mellow and has this really cool vibe and I don’t have that,” China told AccessHollywood.com about what it was like to take on the pop icon. “I’m really hyper all the time, so that was a little bit of a challenge.”

The series, hosted by “Arrow” star John Barrowman, sees five celebs turning into different musical superstars each week. The celebs are put into elaborate costumes and sometimes prosthetics, and are instructed in choreography and vocals before hitting the stage as a famed music star.

The other celebs competing on “Sing Your Face Off” are Sebastian Bach, Lisa Rinna, Jon Lovitz and pro basketball player Landry Fields. The judges on the show are “SNL” alum Darrell Hammond and Debbie Gibson.

It’s just been revealed that in the first week Sebastian Bach takes on Adam Levine, covering Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger.” But, don’t expect the Skid Row rocker to have snaky hips when he hits the stage.

“I found out that I had more moves like Sebastian than moves like Jagger,” Sebastian told Access.
