Spider-Man’s ‘Amazing’ Title Unveiled; Andrew Garfield In Full Spidey Suit Revealed!

The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man reboot is bound to be “Amazing.”

Columbia Pictures announced that the title of the next Spider-Man movie would be “The Amazing Spider-Man.”

The studio also released the first image of Andrew Garfield suited in the famous suit complete with mask.

In January, “The Social Network” star told Access Hollywood that he was quite impressed with the sight of himself in the iconic costume (minus the mask).

“It’s cool right? That’s cool man!” Andrew told Billy Bush on the Golden Globes red carpet. “I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of excited by that!”

The film also stars Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) Rhys Ifans (Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard), Denis Leary (George Stacy), Campbell Scott (Richard Parker), Irrfan Khan (Nels Van Adder/Proto-Goblin), Martin Sheen (Ben Parker), and Sally Field (May Parker).

“The Amazing Spider-Man,” which is currently being shot in 3-D, will swing into theaters on July 3, 2012.
