State of California Files Tax Lien Against Khloe Kardashian

Despite two hit reality shows on E! and a Laker for a husband, Khloe Kardashian is the latest Hollywood celebrity to find herself in tax trouble.

According to a State of California Tax Lien obtained by Access Hollywood, the “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” star owes a total of $18,490.74 in back state taxes, penalties, interest and collection fees, stemming from 2007.

According to the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California Notice of State Tax Lien, Khloe owes $12,891 in back taxes. The additional $5,599.74 is made up of a penalty ($3,222.75), interest ($2143.99) and the collection fee ($233).

The lien was issued on July 28.

In 2007, Khloe was 23 and a star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” a show in which she still appears. She also was, and continues to be, a part owner of the Calabasas, Calif., luxury-clothing boutique, D-A-S-H.

A rep for the star could not immediately be reached for comment, however a source told TMZ, that Khloe did pay the lien previously and is just waiting for her name to be cleared.
