It turns out being one of the world’s biggest pop star isn’t all that difficult – at least, according to Taylor Swift.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw, the singer explained that embarking on a world tour “is not that hard. I’m telling you now, it’s really not.”
“Sometimes I really don’t think it’s that hard at all,” the singer, who is in the midst of her “1989” World Tour, continued. “When I was starting out I’d go on tour for three months and I was gone for three months. Now almost 10 years in, thank God we get to play bigger shows so I don’t have to play as many.”

In fact, some nights Taylor jets home in between tour dates.
“If we’re playing stadiums, I’ll do two or three a week, not five shows a week, then I get to fly home in between,” she explained. “It’s not that bad… [it’s] made out to be harder than it is.”
But there is a bad side to touring for the “Bad Blood” singer.

“I do have to leave the cats behind, when I leave the country,” she said of her prized felines Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, “which is the hardest part.”
And after a night performing, Taylor loves to curl up in front of the TV – especially to sitcoms she’s seen a million times.
“I really like the feeling of: ‘You know what? I’ve been busy. I deserve this watching two hours of TV at the end of the night,'” she said of her post-show routine. “I like ‘Friends’ because I’ve seen every episode, so it’s like switching my brain off. I know exactly what they’re about to say.”
