‘The 100’: Eliza Taylor On Clarke’s Mount Weather Suspicions

Several dozen members of “The 100” have been enjoying eating cake and sleeping indoors at Mount Weather, but Eliza Taylor’s Clarke remains suspicious of her group’s new hosts.

“Everyone else has sort of drank the Kool-Aid in that respect, but Clarke being typical Clarke is very, very suspicious and she thinks that it’s too good to be true. But her instincts are usually on the money, so I think that it’s possible that she’s right,” Eliza told Access Hollywood.

Monty (Christopher Larkin) and Jasper (Devon Bostick) seem to be enjoying their new digs, and Eliza thinks it has to do with the feeling of home Mount Weather provides the boys.

“This is the first sort of resemblance of a real home that they’ve ever had,” she said. “They have a roof over their heads. They’re not being hunted day and night. They’re eating real food, they’ve got an abundance of water, and how could you not want to make that life work for yourself?”

Jasper has even made a connection with Mount Weather resident Maya.

“I think it’s kind of fun for Jasper to have a like a little crush on someone,” Eliza said. “Their relationship is quite cute and grows quite a bit.”

A more complicated relationship on the show, though, is the one between Clarke, the leader of her group, and President Wallace, the leader of the Mount Weather group.

“You just don’t know with him,” Eliza said of Wallace, played by Raymond J. Barry. “He plays such an elusive character where you can’t figure out whether or not he’s a good guy or a bad guy and he does it so well. I love that guy.”

“The 100” airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
