It may be Mother’s Day, but a number of star couples opted to make it a wedding weekend.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott renewed their wedding vows on Saturday, with Tori Tweeting, “Beautiful day to remarry ;).”
According to People, the couple -– who have revealed marital discord on recent episodes of their reality show, “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” — tied the knot for a second time in a private Beverly Hills residence.
The LA-area ceremony was much closer to home than their original wedding, which took place in Fiji in 2006.
Tori and Dean weren’t the only couple to celebrate vow renewal bliss.
Heidi Klum and Seal celebrated their fifth anniversary with their annual tradition of holding a new ceremony, this time at sunset in Costa Careyes, Mexico, according to People.
The mag reported that the ceremony had about 80 friends and family in attendance, with guests keeping to the wedding theme by wearing white and black attire.
Amidst all the renewals, one star was exchanging vows for the first time. Colin Hanks tied the knot with restaurant publicist Samantha Bryant at the London Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday, according to a People source, as guests including Alyssa Milano and Reese Witherspoon looked on.
In related news, singer Bobby Brown, who was formerly married to Whitney Houston, has apparently decided to give matrimony another chance.
According to the Florida Times-Union, he proposed to girlfriend and manager Alicia Etheridge on stage at the Funk Fest in Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday.
Details on when the couple plan to walk down the aisle were not immediately available.
The two have an 11-month-old son, Cassius, together.
