U2 Guitarist The Edge Falls Off Stage

Guess you could say The Edge didn’t see… the edge!

U2 guitarist The Edge fell off the stage during a performance in Vancouver on Thursday night, as the band kicked off their Innocence and Experience tour.

While playing the band’s mega-hit “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” The Edge, 53, was playing guitar as he strolled a long illuminated catwalk that extended into the audience, when he took one too many steps to his right and fell right off the stage.

For his part, Bono kept right on singing.

Fear not fans, The Edge (whose real name is Dave Evans) was OK.

“Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!! #U2ieTour,” The Edge captioned a photo on the band’s official Instagram page, showing off his scraped up arm.

Of course, this kind of thing happens – just ask Bono!
